Poshmark keeps it simple: a flat $2.95 on sales under $15, and a 20% commission at $15 and up. Buyer-paid shipping goes to Poshmark’s prepaid label, not to you. Enter a price to see what you keep.

A flat $2.95 commission on sales under $15, and 20% of the sale price for sales of $15 or more. There are no separate listing or payment-processing fees.
No — the buyer’s shipping payment funds Poshmark’s prepaid USPS label. It never enters your earnings, and Poshmark’s commission is charged on the item price only.
The flat $2.95 under $15 works out to an effective 29.5% on a $10 sale — the flat fee structurally penalizes low-price items. Cheap items usually net more on Depop or Mercari.
Poshmark briefly experimented with a buyer-protection-fee model in 2024, then reverted to the classic $2.95 / 20% structure on October 24, 2024. That reverted structure is what this calculator uses. Note: since October 2025, sellers located in Texas see an additional Texas Seller Fee Tax.
Poshmark’s 20% is the highest flat commission of the big four reseller marketplaces — eBay effectively takes ~14%, Mercari 10%, and Depop only a 3.3% + $0.45 processing fee. Compare all four in our net payout calculator.
