Depop fee calculator

Depop removed its 10% selling fee for US sellers in 2023 — many fee guides still get this wrong. What remains is a 3.3% + $0.45 payment-processing fee on the item plus shipping, which makes Depop the cheapest of the big reseller marketplaces at almost every price point.

FAQ

Depop fee questions

Does Depop still charge a 10% selling fee?

No — Depop removed the 10% commission for US (and UK/Australia) sellers in 2023. US sellers pay only a payment-processing fee of 3.3% + $0.45 on the item price plus shipping and taxes.

What fees do US Depop sellers pay in 2026?

Just payment processing: 3.3% of (item + shipping + applicable taxes) plus $0.45 per transaction, via Depop Payments. On a $100 sale with free shipping, that is $3.75 total.

What is Depop’s boosted listings fee?

Boosting is optional advertising: for new listings from March 23, 2026, a 12% fee applies — but only on sales the boost actually produces. Unboosted sales never pay it.

Do I receive the shipping the buyer pays on Depop?

Yes — buyer-paid shipping is collected into your payout (unlike Poshmark or Mercari prepaid labels), and you purchase the label. The processing fee does apply to the shipping amount.

Is Depop really the cheapest marketplace for sellers?

For US sellers, usually yes: ~3.75% effective total on a typical sale versus Mercari’s 10%, eBay’s ~14%, and Poshmark’s 20%. Compare the same item across all four in our net payout calculator.
